On My Farm!

I hope you all are doing well and taking advantage of the warmer weather and working in those gardens! Here is a tag I had fun with using the Seed Packets Background, Harvest and Grunge Elements.
Don't you just love the vintage feel of these new stamps? All of the images were stamped using Black Archival and inked with Antique Linen, Old Paper and Gathered Twigs. I cut apart the seed packets to make a little collage of images and spritzed on a bit of water and Walnut Stain. The young lad background was inked over and I colored his suspenders using Faded Denim with a water brush and the tie was dyed the same.

Finished off with a sentiment from Harvest which was cut apart. Love that sentiment! The black tag background used stamps from Grunge Elements that were covered with Buttermilk paint.

Thank you for visiting today and have a great weekend. As a quick update, we are still in the process of a large move and it is not an easy task at all with packing, setting up a new house, getting an older house in order and then the 2,300 mile trip across county in a U-haul pulling a vehichle and we get to do that adventure one more time. Oh and I have stories to tell and will at a later time. Actually it is much more involved than we ever thought, so again I ask you to stick with me over the next month. I sure hope by the end of May we are done with at least the moving part and then will just have to sell the house in California!

Great tag, hope all goes well with the mood. By the way, emperor is wrongly spelled in the sentiment - ah, once a teacher, always a teacher, spelling mistakes always jump at me! Hugs, Valerie

Hi Ho - Hi Ho – It’s Off to Wisconsin we go, and this time There’s No Snow!!!. Just be careful of changing weather. We wouldn’t want to lose you in Kansas, and have to pick up your belonging in Illinois.
Love the Farming Tag. Great Look! Hugs V

Fantastic tag Terry, such great use of those fabulous stamps, love how you put it together!

Please send some of that warmer weather over, we have had nothing but snow and hail, - no Spring to be found anywhere :(

Like Astrid says, we have snow, hail, rain and freezing temperatures here - very unusual for us. I just love your tag and the sentiment is amazing.

I really do hope that all goes well with the move, I don't envy you that drive but there will some gorgeous scenery to look forward to I am sure. Take care, we will still be here when you find the time to post!! Hugs, Anne xx

Terry
We are in the middle of a cold snap. I've two hot water bottles tucked into my bed LOL. We had snow yesterday evening although thankfully it has since disappeared amongst the hailstones and rain!
Love the rustic quality to this fabulous tag art and the beautiful sense of nostalgia you captured.
Hope life is good.
Wishes
Lynne

What a fabulous tag my friend, yes I do love those gorgeous vintage images.
Your move sounds as though it is a bit of an upheaval but I am sure it will be well worth it in the end. We both send you good wishes for the transition and much love and who is gonna take me craft shopping this August?

Always enjoy your tags. The accented black words add a nice pop. Great vintage look. Hoping the move goes well, and I think you are just about 4-5 hours from me now...maybe one day we will meet : )

I seem to have missed this charming tag back in April (struggling to keep up with visiting and even the crafting is down to a minimum) but it gives me a chance to say I hope all has gone well with the move and I hope you're starting to settle in to your new home.

Many crafty hugs,
Alison xx
